Our founder, E.T. Hollander, started working in the pest industry of Alabama in 1975. Though he started small - working as a technician for a large pest company in Birmingham- he quickly developed a passion for termite and pest control. He turned this passion into a multi-million dollar buisness, by the name of Alapestco Termite and Pest Control, with the help of his business partner, Armond Bragg. Alapestco serviced the state of Alabama and the Southeast region for over 40 years. They sold that business over 5 years ago, and now E.T. is bringing his expertise and passion for residential pest services to his home town of Hayden, Alabama and the Greater Birmingham area with Better Pest Control.

E.T. has a heart to serve people and is known for his honest and ethical business practices. He has worked closely with pest experts and state entomologists and continues to broaden his knowledge base in order to best serve you and help you with all your pest control needs in a way which maintains environmental responsibility.
